At Treatments we aim to provide hands on treatments for many different conditions and symptoms. We have a team of therapists that allows us to work together to provide an individual, unique, treatment plan for each patient. Sometimes your treatment plan might consist of the use of a couple of different therapies to get you the best possible outcome.
We strive to provide a welcoming but professional environment in which you will receive your treatment. If you would like to get in touch to discuss whether we might be able to help we would love to hear from you.
We believe in a holistic and complimentary approach to health. Where appropriate and with your permission we will communicate and try and work with your GP to get you the best outcome, and will always refer to your GP if any further investigations are necessary.
Treatments is owned by Sue Boardman (nee Turnock). She qualified in Sports Therapy in 1998 from Staffordshire University and set up her own practice in her home town of Leek. Sue then went on to gain a degree in Traditional Acupuncture. After several years she co-founded "Hands on Health" where she has continued to work until 2015. However due to her practice expanding, she decided to make the move to finally open her own clinic "Treatments" which finally fulfils one of her childhood dreams, to own her very own practice.
At "Treatments" they have completely renovated a cute little property on Wardles Passage, nestled between Wilko's and Russell Street, where they now have two comfortable treatments rooms and a reception area. The Treatments Team has grown and now comprises of Hazel Mycock, Karen Glancey, Elizabeth Sherratt, Karina Essery, Jemma Lowe and Hannah Sewell. On reception we have Amanda Holdcroft and Carol Bird who look forward to welcoming their existing patients and new patients to these premises.
They like to work as a team, and hopefully provide a friendly and warm reception while still providing a very professional service.
In 2018 Treatments opened another room based at Brough Park Leisure Centre , Leek, providing the opportunity to treat and rehabilitate people with injuries whilst tailoring their exercise programmes to meet their individual needs.
